r.bar Spirits Academy debuted in November of 2019, as a limited series Baltimore cocktail workshop with a new focus each month taught by r.bar bartenders and managers.
Each intimate and immersive workshop took place inside the private prep and catering kitchen at R.House and was limited to seating for only 10 people ages 21+ up.
Workshops in this event series included, “Making Bitters,” “Infusions & Syrups,” “Holiday Punch” and “Haus of Au Lait.” In each session, participants:
- learned the history & insider tips of culinary techniques
- experimented with classic cocktail & original r.bar recipes
- enjoyed a mini tasting of all the delectable concoctions
At the conclusion of each workshop, participants received:
- Samples of select cocktail ingredients
- Recipe cards & program notes
- Certificate of Completion
- More confidence to create customized cocktails at home!
