A Gathering of Stories is a mythopoetic journey, conducted over livestream, bringing together renowned storytellers, musicians, poets, and movement artists from around the world, providing new insight and perspectives on The Heart of the Feminine.
On July 31, this full-day will weave a tapestry of story, punctuated by musical performances and spoken word artists. After each story, the audience will be invited to dive deeper into a conversation with the teller, connecting around the themes, insights, and revelations that naturally spill forth from this old human conjuring.
The diverse lineup includes: indigenous grandmother Klasom Satlt’xw Losah, spoken word artist Alixa Garcia, story maven Leah Lamb, ethereal musician Yaima, plus: Niema Lightseed, Zhenevere Sophia Doa, Safiya Labelle, Maya Luna, Asha Rising, and Shay Au Lait.
The day will be hosted by Pulxaneeks of the Haisla Nation, and musician Tonye Aganaba.
Tickets are offered under Pay What You Can to make the event as accessible to as many people as possible, especially those from marginalized communities.
